Finally, our first post of 2013! It’s been a crazy start to the year. We’ve been busy as usual with weddings, but have also had a lot of baby invitations and announcements recently. Thought I would share one of my favorites… We did Maria and Christo’s wedding invitations back in 2010. We are always thrilled when former clients come back as their families start growing. We love this simple, yet elegant gatefold announcement. Panels open to reveal details and closes with an elegant silver wax seal. The flip side has address information printed on it directly so need for an envelope! The whole thing mails in a clear cello sealed sleeve. Congrats to Mom, Dad and little cutie pie Stefano!
I’ve been really behind on the blogging thing lately. When you run your own business life can be all about work, work, work! This year while I’ve been blessed to be staying very busy it just got to a point where I got a little run down and needed to do something for myself. So, no shows this year. No packing up the studio and heading across the country showing my wares. This year is ME time. The business is doing great and I finally felt like I could take a little break and focus on recharging my creative batteries. As an entrepeneur the urge can be just to keep pushing forward, but you have to remember the things that are important, that inspire you and help keep you going.
So, off to Paris with my mom and 2 close girlfriends for 10 days of sightseeing, fun and eating fantastic French food!! We rented an apartment in the 7th Arrondisement (with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower right out the living room window). Amazing shopping and eating were steps out our front door! Here’s a little snippet of our trip. Now that I am over the jetlag it’s back to business as usual, but with fresh eyes and recharged mojo! Enjoy et à bientôt!
